Preparation and launch for the 3rd Season of Wooter Africa.

We’re humbled to announce that the long wait is over! We’re as excited as you are; the 3rd Season of Wooter Africa has officially launched yesterday. The Wooter Africa Basketball Tournament is currently hosted in Zanzibar, Tanzania with a mission to support communities and youth in Africa through sports.

Wooter Africa currently consists of over 21 teams and strives to be the best basketball league in Africa. Basketball teams travel from all parts of the country to play in Wooter Africa.

The third season of Wooter Africa commenced on Sunday 8th December with finals wrapping up on Sunday 12th January.

The incredible opening of the 3rd Season of Wooter Africa Basketball League.

Our guest of honor was Rajab Ali Rajab, Honourable Mr Hamid Suleiman Ahmad ( (District Commissioner, Director and C.E.O of Wooter Africa), Mr Said Mansab (Urban Basketball Association Secretary) and Ramadhan Salmin (Chairman of Basketball Federation of Zanzibar (BAZA) ) and many other invited stakeholders from Zanzibar.

Wonderers lost their first game against J.K.U who won 48-43 at the Mao Ze Dong Basketball Court in Zanzibar.
